REACT ACADEMY - Erasmus+ Project
Overview
The REACT ACADEMY aims to strengthen teachers' roles before, during and after disasters by equipping them with disaster literacy, crisis management, psychosocial support and digital education skills.
The consortium brings together 8 experienced partners from Turkey, Italy, Sweden, Poland, Portugal, and Greece. The project duration is 36 months.
Objectives
- Investigate skills needed by teachers in pre-, during and post-disaster educational settings.
- Develop digital resilience and crisis intervention skills to ensure continuity of education.
- Strengthen teachers' capacity to provide psychosocial support.
- Develop a holistic disaster resilient micro-learning programme engendering digital open badges.
- Create a sustainable Community of Practice among teachers to establish a disaster resilient teacher network.
